Polinta CD Manufacture (M) Sdn Bhd is a limited company incorporated
in Malaysia in 1995 and had been operating since then with
its nature activities; compact disc manufacturing and there
has been no significant changes in its activity till today.
Polinta
CD runs activities from pre-mastering to a finish product
of a compact disc. The manufacturing covers the process of
pre-mastering, stamper making, replication, printing, packing
and packaging.
As all
process are done by fully automation machines with high speed
and high technology, the compact disc produced are all quality
controlled.
PRE-MASTERING
AND GLASS MASTERING DIVISION
Pre-mastering
consists of encoding and decoding of data from a source; Betacam,
VHS tapes or Compact Disc into a recordable compact disc for
stamper production. The pre-mastering is done not only by
high quality equipment but also by an advance and high technology
programmed computers.
After
per-mastering is done, the recordable compact disc will then
be sent to the glass mastering division for stamper making.
This write down the history of the FIRST MANUFACTURER to have glass mastering equipment and service in Malaysia. A perfect in-line system producing high quality stampers in
one fully automatic cycle from the master. The Automatic Mastering
and Stamper Making System are integrated to achieve best end
product and pre-replication track.
REPLICATION
DIVISION
Replication
is done by a fully automatic machine that is imported from
The Netherlands
and injection machines all imported for JAPAN (SUMMITOMO) . Till now we have 6 lines all together and more than 3-4 million compact discs are being manufactured within a month. It functions by pressing compact disc from
polycarbonate materials. The compact disc is made according
to the stamper mould.
After
replication is done, the compact disc will be printed. All
printing are done by a five colour printing machine which
based on the uses of UV drying inks.
With the complete equipment for compact disc production, printing plays a very vital role. To maintain high quality, POLINTA CD MANUFACTURE (M) SDN BHD imported an offset machine using dry-on-dry technology witch is 1 st and only oneinMalaysia to install this machine.
With the full co-operation and contribution from the management and staff, POLINTA CD MANUFACTURE (M) SDN BHD (327798-D) & POLINTA MAGNETIC INDUSTRIES (M) SDN BHD (59543-U) was certified that the Quality Management System has been approved by Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance to the following management system standards: ISO 9001:2000, EN ISO 9001:2000, BS EN ISO 9001:2000, MS ISO 9001:2000.
Finishing
the raw compact disc production, it will be then send for
packing. A fully automatic machine does the insertion of booklet
and backliner into the jewel cases. Then another machine will
do the OPP wrappings and the product will be place in cartons.
