Polinta Magnetic Industries (M) Sdn Bhd is a limited company
incorporated in Malaysia in 1979 and has been operating since
then with it's nature activities; cassette manufacturing and
there have been no significant changes in it's activity till
today.
Polinta
Magnetic Industries (M) Sdn Bhd used to based in Cheras but
has since shifted to a factory lot based in Desa Tun Razak
which is solely owned by the directors themselves. Until 31
August 2001 the whole of POLINTA GROUP has shifted
to Kawasan Perindustrian Belakong, Malaysia for capacity wise.
As manufacturing
is concern, its activities covers from raw material moulding
the structure, assembling the internal accessories to duplicating
of sound tape and lastly packing.
MOULDING
DIVISION
This division
consists of the processing of raw materials into cassette
casing, Norelco boxes and Jewel boxes. This process is done
by high-speed injection moulding machine imported from Japan.
These machines are especially for the moulding purposes while
its high technology are well known to produce the best of
the quality products.
ASSEMBLY
DIVISION
This division
is where the cassette casing are paired together and assemble
with all the necessary internal accessories. These process
is not done by hand but by a fully automatic assembling machine
imported from Italy.
The reason
for importing these machines is its high technology in quality
production. During the assembling process, every single cassette
is quality controlled by sensors installed around the assembly
line for good quality end product.
PRE-MASTERING
AND DUPLICATING DIVISION
The pre-mastering
division is a producing of half-inch masters for duplication
purposes in the recording studio. These pre-mastering are
done with high technology equipment and professional sound
engineers. The sound engineers are ranked top in Malaysia.
From the
pre-mastering, the half inch master produced will be used
in the duplicating division. This division uses high technology
duplication imported machine that provides time efficiency
and excellent quality.
After
duplication is done, the recorded pancakes are sent for winding.
The winding process is done by fully automatic machine, which
is also imported. Then the winded cassettes will then be sent
for body prints. The printing is based on UV drying concept.
Once it is done, the cassettes will be pack and wrapped with
OPP wrapping. A fully automatic machine, too, does the packing.
After all necessary quality control, the cassettes are ready
for sale in the market.
